JOB DESCRIPTION -
- Mask, weed and apply vinyl to various substrates (eg, acrylic, aluminium, twinwall, wood etc) or to wall, floor, glass, vehicle etc.
- Cut and shape the graphics to fit each surface by using proper adherence and cutting techniques during application. Disassembling and reassembling products, and/or machinery during the application
- Carry out preparation work in the workshop. Properly load and use a hot/cold pressure laminator following standard safety precautions. Load and cut vinyl on a plotter.
- Ability to fabricate structures of various substrates
- Ability to set up, program, operate, or tend woodworking machines, such as drill presses, shapers, routers, sanders, planers, or wood-nailing machines.
- Maintain and carry minor repair and ensure machinery in good working condition.
- Must be able to draw, read and understand detailed dimensions.
- Travel to the worksite to preview, take measurements, provide recommendations for materials and methods.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Able to lead and direct a outdoor work team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS -
- Higher ITE Cert
- Min 3 years’ relevant experience in related industry
- Good practical skills
- Attention to details
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to read measuring tools, such as tape measures, rulers and modern laser devices, to the nearest fraction
- Ability to read and follow directions when mixing or applying solvents, pastes or sealants
- Ability to differentiate between colors, normal color vision is necessary
