Description and Requirements
This position will be responsible for administering the data from different sources and tool and build data models for analysis. The candidate would be go-to person for any data related queries and discrepancies.
- Write complex SQL queries to build data models for sales operations business modules. Ensure the correctness of data before releasing it to stakeholders.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, learn DDL, manage dataflows and administer. Work closely with relevant IT teams and owners to identify datasources, perform ETL and integrate to business tables.
- Participate in sales transformation and regional business initiatives and understand the regional data impact, prepare and work with stakeholders to enable the data.
- Must possess excellent troubleshooting skills. Setup strategy to identify data gaps in advance, run regular data checks and communicate with end users effectively.
- Monitor and maintain system health, security, user management, daily jobs, and schedules. Knowledge on server migration, upgrades and installation is an added advantage.
- Create and evaluate data analysis models, joins, functions and procedures in the database. Implement best practices to constantly optimize the database performance.
- Comprehend the reporting requirements from analysts and build or modify dataset to readily integrate to BI tools.
- Proactively oversee incoming data on a day-to-day basis and communicate/fix any issues in real time. Coordinate with external customers to ensure valid data entry on a timely manner.
- Work with other regions to incorporate best case scenarios, implement automation strategies and communicate with internal stakeholders.
- Maintain target files, mapping files, control sheets on a regular basis. Work closely with data management team to address potential issues.
- Hands on experience on Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be an added advantage.
- Provide end-to-end technical support and problem resolution.
